How's this for an expensive lesson...
A prospect we chatted with at the start of the year had a $1200 ad spend with no leads or sales. 🤯
After our chat, they started getting leads. 🙌
How?
Simply because we lifted the veil and brought some clarity to a few numbers in their business.
You absolutely have to know your numbers to make sure that what you are putting your hard-earned money toward is actually working.
Here are theirs.
▪️ Google ad spend = $1200.
▪️ Time = 21 days.
▪️ Clicks to landing page with no form = 415.
▪️ Clicks to contact page from there = 95.
▪️ Cost per landing page view (c/LPV) = $12.
▪️ Number of form fills..... 0.

Now, without seeing any of their actual landing pages, there was one obvious element we could improve upon - removing an unnecessary step in their funnel. Simple fix.
Then it was a case of looking at their pages, which were impersonal and spoke to the wrong audience. Another area to tweak.
Now, they're getting leads from their target customers. Bonus. 🙌
The learning. Make sure you look at your customer touchpoints from every angle to look, see, and feel the experience.
